Does what it does |

Its a big solid metal toaster. Its timeless. In fact, it looks even better as it gets older. There isnt a spring or a plastic body panel in site. If it goes wrong you get it fixed at the electrical shop. It weighs a ton. And youll be grinning from ear to ear every time you look at it. So its expensive. But after youve bought this why should you ever buy another toaster in your life again? I bought mine when I was skint several years ago - it went on the credit card. I dont regret a penny of it.

Expensive but worth it |

Simple, classic and classy. I LOVE my Dualit toaster and think it was worth every penny. Simple lever operation is so much better than the fiddly pop-ups - also the spaces are wide enough for generous slices of bread. Yum yum - what could be more important in your life than toast?

cult toaster |
|
some people (like your mother) wont understand why you have spent so much on a toaster, it doesnt shink to fit your slice of bread, it doesnt have a browning adjuster button, it doesnt even pop up when the toast is done. you just drop it in, and twist the dial (total trial and error as to how far you twist) but for sheer joy of ownership and love of the cult status of this toaster, for me there will never be another. it makes toast. thats it. and i am hopeful it will never fail me and we will not tire of each other.
